Aisha Pruden – Hornline Instructor

Aisha was involved with the Edmonton All Girls Marching Ambassadors from 1995-1998. She began her love for music in junior high school and continued through high school. She has won multiple awards and scholarships. Aisha also played first chair flute in the All City High School music band.

After high school, Aisha continued to play but was focused on starting a family. Watching her kids grow up, she decided that she wanted them to feel the passion and love that she felt for music. She enrolled them in the Edmonton Sabers Marching Band, where she also began to instruct the woodwind section. This brought the love of music and the teaching students back into her life. She is extremely excited to be teaching for her second year and can’t wait to watch her students grow and know the love, friendships, and passion that comes from being a part of the Edmonton Sabers Marching Band.

Megan Reid – Pit/Nationals Instructor

Megan is really excited to be joining the Edmonton Saber staff as the Pit instructor! She was a member of the Edmonton Strutters Drum Corps from 1997-2002 and graduated from the University of Alberta in 2008 with a Bachelor of Education.

Although Megan hasn’t been involved in band in quite awhile, she is thrilled to get involved as an instructor and teach kids about this amazing activity.
